Receiving your dental veneers will usually take three appointments. – an initial consultation and two visits to make and apply the dental veneers. During your initial consultation you will meet with Dr. Lopez and together you’ll discuss the results you would like to achieve. Dr. Lopez will examine your teeth to make sure you’re a candidate for dental veneers. At the second visit, you’ll have around ½ millimeter of enamel removed from the surface of the teeth receiving veneers and a mold will be taken of your teeth. This mold will be sent to a dental lab, which will construct the dental veneers. This process usually takes a week or two. At your third and final visit, your teeth will be cleaned and polished in order to receive the dental veneers. Then they will be placed on your teeth and cemented down. Your last step is to walk out with a newly improved smile!
