Although ClearCorrect is a fantastic solution for many patients, it may not be right for everyone. Alternatives include traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, and other clear aligner brands like Invisalign. First, you’ll have a consultation with Dr. Lopez to determine whether ClearCorrect is the right treatment for you. If it is, he’ll take impressions and photos of your teeth to create your personalized treatment plan.

Next, you’ll receive a series of custom-made aligners. You’ll wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before moving on to the next set. Gradually, your teeth will shift into their desired positions.

You’ll visit Dr. Lopez every four to six weeks to monitor your progress and collect your next sets of aligners. Most people complete treatment in one to two years.

Once your active treatment is complete, you’ll need to wear retainers to maintain your new smile. The exact time can vary, but many patients wear their retainers full-time for at least a few months, then switch to wearing them only at night.
